Watch this video for a fun rhyme on the theme of selective sorting, telling the story of a bin which ate too much and can be helped to digest by removing recyclable items! Suggested activities: 1. Learners watch and recap French words & phrases they understood. 2. Watch again: What items can be recycled? Can learners think of other categories? 3. Watch again and get your learners to repeat after the French speaker. Can they understand more this time? 4. Play again and encourage your learners to say the words before the French speaker! They could also find gestures to accompany each slide. 5. Learners create their own “comptine”, using other vocabulary for Recycling, then illustrate it and teach it to the class.
