Watch the animation Die Haustiere – Richtig oder Falsch? in which learners are presented with images of common pets. Each image is accompanied by a statement i.e Es is ein Vogel. Learners have to decide whether each statement is true or false. If it is true, they repeat the sentence. If it is false, they should try and say what the pet is.
