Watch the interactive animation Le Royaume-Uni et la Grande-Bretagne in which the difference between Great-Britain and the United Kingdom is explained in simple terms. Get your learners to learn or revise the 4 countries’ names in French and place them on the map. Extend the activity by asking your learners to research the capital cities and flags and place/draw them on the map. You could also ask them to research the patron saints of each nation.
