Before watching this animation, ask your learners if they know some characteristics of a rainforest (type of weather, type of vegetation) and where rainforests are located. Make a list of key vocabulary. Watch the video: 1. Ask learners to concentrate on visual clues, familiar words and cognates, to make sense of the animation. 2. Learners in small groups recap and present their information to the class. Put all the information together before watching the animation again. 3. Recap as a class again, this time pointing at geographical locations on a world map. 4. To go further, ask your learners to research (in Spanish) what animals can be found in the rainforest of various countries/continents.
